Following the decision by EHDC to grant change of use, OAA Developments Ltd has acquired Passfield Oak on the outskirts of Liphook and will redevelop the property into a care home.

Permission to change the existing 6,700 sq ft (624 m2) B1 offices to C2 care home use was granted at the end of October and work will start early in the new year. Once complete the new care home will have 12 bedrooms and some 20 parking spaces for staff and visitors.

Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell director, Stuart Mitchell comments: “The decision to opt for change of use will see a local site transformed into a much needed care home facility which once operational will provide new jobs for the area. Passfield Oak is located opposite Passfield Common with good road and train links.”
