Situated on a prominent corner position in the heart of Southsea, 149 / 151 Albert Road of 104.25 sq.m (1,122 sq.ft) has been let for a term of 5 years. The property was let on behalf of private investors at a rental of £11,000 per annum in the first year, rising to £12,000 per annum thereafter to Just For You offering a variety of household accessories.
On behalf of Southern Co-operative Ltd, we have also let double fronted retail premises at 143 / 145 Milton Road, Waterlooville totalling 107.5 sq.m (1,158 sq.ft). Top Notch Ladies Hair & Beauty Ltd have taken on the remainder of a sub-lease expiring in May 2015 at a rental of £15,500 per annum.
Stuart Mitchell believes that these two deals prove that there is still a good level of activity from both existing and start up businesses in the current market.
