Despite the market still being slow Chartered Surveyors, Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell are proving that there are still deals out there to be done. Director Stuart Mitchell comments “Commercial property to purchase may be few and far between, but there are still plenty of properties out there available to lease”.
Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell offer considerable first hand market knowledge and awareness in all aspects of the commercial market. They have recently completed a number of retail deals in and around Portsmouth to include a small lock-up shop of 611sq.ft within an office / retail development in the centre of Horndean. Due to expansion Alice Blue Fancy Dress Hire, who are already well established in the Petersfield area has taken on a 16 month licence at £6,000 for the period.
Just around the corner in Clanfield, on behalf of Southern Co-operatives Ltd, Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell have also introduced Hometech Solutions who proceeded to take a 3 year lease of retail premises at a rent rising to £12,000 per annum.
Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell have also been active in Southsea completing the sale of retail premises where a change of use was gained to Class A5 (hot food takeaway). The freehold was sold at £92,500.
